Khune Remains Chiefs Top Dog

Itumeleng Khune has remained Kaizer Chiefs’ most-selected player for the upcoming Carling Black Label Cup, despite his Amakhosi future staying uncertain.

The 34-year-old is one of several players who had their contracts with the Glamour Boys run out by the end of June.

However, the club agreed several new deals with the likes of Khune, Willard Katsande and Bernard Parker, among others, and are yet to announce the futures of the players.

Meanwhile, voting for the Carling Black Label Cup is heating up and Khune has stayed ahead of the chasing pack, having received 178 152 votes so far.
