Official: Former Chiefs Youngster Completes African Move

Former Kaizer Chiefs youngster Sizwe Twala has completed a move to Gaborone United.

The 24-year-old was released by Amakhosi in the beginning of the 2021/22 season but has now moved to the Botswana Premier League.

“Gaborone United have acquired the services of former Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates youth product, Sizwe Twala.

“The Soweto-born striker has penned down a two-and-a-half year deal with The Reds,” the club stated.

Assistant coach Pontsho Moloi added: “I like him and he is such an intelligent striker. He will surely give us options going forward especially in a demanding season like this one.”

Twala is a former Chiefs youth product, who also spent time at Orlando Pirates and Bidvest Wits as a junior.

In 19/20 he spent half the season out on loan at Swallows in the GladAfrica Championship and most recently was at Pretoria Callies, but failed to make an appearance for the club.
