Pitso Mosimane has dropped a bombshell, revealing he will sign a player from South Africa for Al Ahly, but it won’t be Thembinkosi Lorch or Gaston Sirino.
The Al Ahly coach is yet to sign a player in the current transfer window, but the likes of Thembinkosi Lorch and Gaston Sirino were heavily linked with a move to Egypt.
However, he revealed on Friday that he will be looking to sign a player from Mzansi before the window closes.
“There’s a player that will come from South Africa,” he told Thabiso Mosia on SAFM.
“It’s not Lorch or Sirino but the player will come.
“He’s not from my former team because I don’t want to touch those players because they take me to court.”
Mosimane, though, did not want to reveal which player it is that he wants to take to Egypt.
“I’d like a South African player to come here, but I don’t want to ruffle feathers. I want to do it the right way,” he added.
“You know what happened with Sirino. They said I’m stripping my former team, even though Ahly wanted him before I came here.”
