Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Erwin Saavedra has returned to the Bolivian national team squad after a two year ‘hiatus’. He joined Masandawana in 2022 from Brazilian club Goiás after much fanfare, but failed to live up to expectations, making just 10 appearances in the DStv Premiership and CAF Champions League altogether.
