Amajita dominated the individual awards at the CAF U20 Africa Cup of Nations, after lifting the trophy on Sunday night. South Africa beat Morocco 1-0 in the final, to lift their first ever U20 title. Fletcher Lowe-Smythe was named Goalkeeper of the Tournament after keeping four clean sheets in seven games, including the quarter-final, semi-final and the final, where he even assisted the winner. South Africa are the 2025 CAF U20 African champions for the first time in history, after beating Morocco 1-0 in the U20 Africa Cup of Nations final at the Cairo International Stadium on Sunday night. The new Betway Premiership trophy was unveiled as Mamelodi Sundowns finished the 2024/25 season as champions once more. On Sunday, Masandawana beat Magesi 2-0 thanks to a brace by Lucas Ribeiro Costa in the first half. Afterwards, the PSL finally unveiled the new trophy for the inaugural Betway Premiership, which was designed by artist Nelson Makamo.

Durban City Secure Betway Prem Promotion, Relegate Spurs

Durban City have won promotion to the Betway Premiership for next season after relegating Cape Town Spurs following a hard-fought 1-0 victory at Athlone Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
