Amajita dominated the individual awards at the CAF U20 Africa Cup of Nations, after lifting the trophy on Sunday night. South Africa beat Morocco 1-0 in the final, to lift their first ever U20 title. Fletcher Lowe-Smythe was named Goalkeeper of the Tournament after keeping four clean sheets in seven games, including the quarter-final, semi-final and the final, where he even assisted the winner. The new Betway Premiership trophy was unveiled as Mamelodi Sundowns finished the 2024/25 season as champions once more. On Sunday, Masandawana beat Magesi 2-0 thanks to a brace by Lucas Ribeiro Costa in the first half. Durban City have won promotion to the Betway Premiership for next season after relegating Cape Town Spurs following a hard-fought 1-0 victory at Athlone Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
