Orlando Pirates have confirmed the exit of defender Sandile Mthethwa ahead of the January transfer window. Mthethwa hasn’t played for the Buccaneers since he last played an official match in April when Pirates defeated Royal AM 4-0. The 27-year-old defender made 28 appearances in the famous black and white shirt of the Soweto giants after joining the club in 2016 from the KZN Academy and spent a couple of seasons on loan at Richards Bay and Chippa United.
