Former Orlando Pirates striker Kwame Peprah scored on his debut for Israeli Premier League club Hapoel Hadera.
Peprah, who has been a free agent since parting ways with Pirates after his loan stint with Maritzburg United, had been training with Hadera for the full pre-season.
Despite attracting interest from Morocco, Libya and Egypt, he agreed a one-year deal with the club for the 2023/24 season.
It appeared he may snub the move after not being satisfied with the initial terms offered and Al Ahli Benghazi had made contact for an official proposal.
But last week, the two parties, Hadera, and Peprah’s representatives came to an agreement and the player has even gone on to find the net on his debut as they lost 2-1 against Bnei Sakhnin.
The Ghana striker netted in the 93rd minute for a consolation goal in the Toto Cup Al Group stage clash, which is their league cup before the league campaign kicks off.
