City Announce Decision On Nodada

Cape Town City have confirmed influential midfielder Thabo Nodada has signed a new contract.

Nodada, 28, has long been mooted for a move to Gauteng as one of the most consistent performers for City since the club’s formation eight years ago.

Mamelodi Sundowns were said to be keen on his services at the start of the 2023/24 season but no official move was made.

City have now tied down the experienced midfielder, who is the longest-serving player at the club, to a three-year extension which will undoubtedly be a major boost to head coach Eric Tinkler and his exciting squad.

City are chasing a consecutive CAF inter-club qualification spot and has looked to retain their best talent to establish the club in the continental space.
