Baroka Eyeing Former CT Spurs Goalie

Motsepe Foundation Championship side Baroka FC are eyeing former Cape Town Spurs goalkeeper Lincoln Vyver.

Vyver came through Spurs junior rankings before making his debut and becoming the club’s first choice. He was crucial for the Urban Warriors when they gained promotion to the Betway Premiership.

It was unfortunate that the 23-year-old never got a chance to play topflight football as he struggled with injuries. He returned to training in the middle of the season and worked on his fitness but still could not play part.

iDiski Times understands that the former South African under-23 goalkeeper has caught Baroka’s attention, and he has been invited by the club to train with them ahead of an expected deal.

Bakgakga are so far the highest-conceding team in the MFC having lost 4-1 to Upington City and playing a 1-1 draw against Orbit College.

Vyver could be a big addition to their team as they look to gain promotion.
