Motsepe Foundation Championship side Pretoria University have announced the departure of both head coach Tlisane Motaung and Sammy Troughton.
Following a disappointing season for AmaTuks in the MFC as they finished in 10th place with 38 points, Motaung and Troughton will see their stay at the club come to an end once their contracts run down.
Motaung shared a message of thank you to the institution after spending over 21 years in the University as a student and as a coach to the football side of the institution. He led AmaTuks to the promotional playoffs for several times.
“The 21 yrs spent at this great institution have built me into the man I am today. I thank Tuks for the opportunities and support offered to me over the years.
“Tuks will always be my second home, and I am excited to embark on a new phase in my coaching career,” read Motaung’s exit message via the club’s social media.
