Willard Katsande has penned an emotional farewell letter after Kaizer Chiefs released the club legend on Tuesday.
The 35-year-old leaves Amakhosi 10 years after joining the club from Ajax Cape Town in 2011.
He made 308 appearances for the Glamour Boys, including 28 in his final campaign with the club.
Katsande posted an emotional farewell message on his social channels, thanking the club for the last 10 years – in particular chairman Kaizer Motaung as well as the Amakhosi faithful.
Katsande was released alongside Kgotso Moleko, Philani Zulu and Brylon Petersen while Lazarus Kambole, Siphosakhe Ntiya-Ntiya and Yagan Sasman have all been placed on the transfer list
