Highly-rated new Orlando Pirates striker Kwame Peprah has revealed why he decided to join the Buccaneers over many other offers.
The Ghanaian forward left King Faisal Football Club in his home country and was unveiled as a new Bucs player player alongside centre-back Olisah Ndah who joined the club from Akwa United in Nigeria.
The 20-year-old is yet to start a game for his new side but revealed he picked Pirates because he thought it’s the best club at this stage in his career.
“When the Ghana Premier League ended, I got many offers but decided to chose Orlando Pirates because it was one of the clubs I wanted to join,” he told the club’s media department.
“I chose Orlando Pirates because I knew it is a team that (can help me) build my career. And the league, the PSL will help me improve my career, that’s why I joined Orlando Pirates.”
“My style of play, I have the ability to shot, I have the strength, I have the speed, I have some little qualities that I know I’m going to improve upon, that’s why I joined Orlando Pirates.”
Peprah joined Pirates after netting 12 goals in 32 appearances in the Ghanaian Premier League in 2020/21.
