Seema Sets Sibisi Speculation Straight
Golden Arrows head coach Lehlohonolo Seema has commented on Nkosinathi Sibisi’s situation, as rumours continue about the defender’s potential move to Orlando Pirates.
Seema says that the captain is still an Arrows player and he is preparing for the season with Sibisi in mind.
The newly-appointed coach, though, says anything can happen in football, and wouldn’t rule out a potential move for the highly-rated defender.
“I don’t want to beat about the bush,” Seema told the media during a digital press conference.
“Sibisi still our player. You saw him he played last weekend somebody was saying no, you put him out because there’s rumors around him no, we are preparing a game you guys are only watching the games, during the weekend in the match.
“We are preparing, the guys have been training, we know who needs how many minutes, we are checking our condition of our players, that this one has been trained this way, this one only need this certain time of minutes, because it was more a preparation to give them minutes in their legs.
“So as far as I’m concerned when I’m talking to you right now, Sibisi is still our player, he is still here with us, however I’m not ruling anything out, this is football, it has happened.
“And if something happened don’t say coach Seema put his head on the block, he was pounding the table that no he’s not going anywhere or no, he’s going, no.
“This is football and I think that it is between the chairlady and Sibisi and whichever that is looking to get his services.
“So one thing for sure. I’m preparing with Sibisi, you will see Sibisi playing for Golden Arrows up until such time comes when maybe it’s official that he’s leaving.”
