Motsepe Foundation Championship side Milford FC are closing on signing experienced midfielder Lifa Hlongwane.
Milford had a good first half of the season where they spent a few weeks sitting top of the league and winning their games.
They currently sitting fourth place with 25 points, six points behind league leaders Durban City. The KwaZulu-Natal-based side already confirmed three new signings, Thobani Mncwango, Sandile Mathumbu, and Thabang Thopola.
This publication established that Milford are edging closer to signing Hlongwane as they look to get more experienced players that will help the team to push them for the next crucial 15 games.
They’ve also qualified for the Nedbank Cup for the second successive season. Last season they made history by beating Kaizer Chiefs in the round of 32.
