Borussia Dortmund new signing Jobe Bellingham could be thrown right into the thick of things at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup as they set to face Fluminense, Mamelodi Sundowns and Ulsan in the next few days.
Bellingham, 19, follows in the footsteps of his brother Jude, who developed into one of the leading midfielders in the world at the club before his lucrative switch to Real Madrid.

Having been lured from Sunderland, after helping them win promotion back to the Premier League, he will undoubtedly attract major attention, as the only brother duo in the competition.
And with Jobe already part of first-team training over the past week since his arrival, Sporting Director Sebastian Kehl is confident he can make an impact, having fought hard to secure his services amidst widespread interest across Europe.
“Jobe… obviously we had his brother, and it was very successful time for all of us, but that was not the reason to bring him to Dortmund, Jobe made a big impact in Sunderland, he improved his physical ability, has good technical skills, a lot of power,” Kehl told iDiski Times.
“He has that box to box element we wanted to bring in our squad, and on top of that, he is a winner, so for that reason, a lot of arguments to convince him for Dortmund, the whole club tried to make that step, and we’re pretty happy we could make it even before the Club World Cup.
“He’s already on the pitch today, so perhaps he can play on Tuesday – so this is amazing for all of us, hopefully he can make the same career as his brother.”
The teenager scored 11 goals with four assists in 90 games for the Black Cats before his reported €30-million transfer for the Bundesliga giants last week.
