Durban City assistant coach Ashraf Hendricks has opened up about the potential CAF Confederation Cup opportunity that comes with winning the Nedbank Cup. Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Marcelo Allende has spoken about the team’s return to the top of the standings amid stiff competition from Orlando Pirates. The Brazilians secured a 1-0 victory over Polokwane City on Wednesday in a catch-up fixture, earning maximum points on the road.  Allende, who netted the decisive goal, emphasized the importance of the win and admitted it was a difficult away match. “This type of pitch, these types of opponents, always tough playing away,” said Allende. “But we knew the goal would come at any moment.
