Newly-promoted Betway Premiership side Kruger United have announced 15 new signings, including former Kaizer Chiefs, Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns players. A few names stand out from Kruger’s signings, with Fiacre Ntwari joining from Kaizer Chiefs on loan, but Katlego Mohamme, Kwanda Mngonyama, Thendo Mukumela and Thabang Sibanyoni are also not new to the top flight. Mohamme, 28, was part of the Bafana Bafana B side that claimed a bronze medal at the COSAFA Cup in Durban in July 2023. Orlando Pirates came from behind to beat Cadiz CF 2-1 and pick up their first pre-season win in Spain at the Marbella Football Center on Saturday night. AmaZulu FC were eliminated in the semifinals of the Prince Mangosuthu Legacy Cup, with Nsingizini Hotspurs retaining the title. Nsingizini secured a victory on penalties over the ABC Motsepe League side Ulundi United in the tournament final, which was held at Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi Stadium in Ulundi.
